Privacy Policy for Spanish Dictionary Hola
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Overview
Spanish Dictionary Hola is an offline English-Spanish dictionary app for iOS. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the app.
Information We Collect
The iOS app does not require an account, does not collect your name or email address, and does not include advertising or third-party analytics.
Dictionary searches are processed inside the app using bundled dictionary and conjugation data. Search terms are not sent to spanish-dict.com or to our servers for lookup.
Speech and Pronunciation
When you tap a pronunciation button, the app uses Apple's built-in iOS speech synthesis features to play the selected word or phrase. The text is passed to the iOS speech system for audio playback.
Website Links
The app may include a link to spanish-dict.com. If you open the website, your use of the website is covered by the Spanish Dictionary website privacy policy and any privacy settings in your browser.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Because the iOS app is designed to work offline and does not use accounts, ads, or third-party analytics, we do not share iOS app search activity with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Retention
We do not keep server-side records of your iOS app searches. Any local app data stored by iOS remains on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.
Children's Privacy
Spanish Dictionary Hola is intended as a general language-learning tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the iOS app.
